Well,
the tour got off to an eventful start, after getting stuck in
traffic in London, the Dum Dums entourage arrived at the Waterfront
at 6:30pm - 1 hour before the doors were due to open! Despite
this minor set back they soundchecked quickly and were ready
to rock. The evening then went according to plan, as Lowfinger
opened up. Then the return of 'the first night of the tour jynx'!
As the boys got to the first chorus of the opening song of their
set, the fire alarm came on and the power went off!
The
next 15 minutes was sepnt in the car park, as the venue was
evacuated! But after this, everyone went back inside and the
boys continued where they'd left off. Steve said: "It was
actually quite funny in the end, we just went back in and started
again!" "After that it went really well...we had a
couple of people from our Japanese record company come &
see us too, which was cool." - Reported by James Webmaster
"Great
night, I heard you at Wembley in August but couldn't really
see you. I have to say your pretty good close up!" - Jo
Buxton, fan.
