This was the weekend we had all been looking forward to for months. During the past month a veil of sadness had been thrown over our excitement and now none of us knew what to expect.

Cheltenham racecourse is the perfect setting. The hills, the sunsets, the incredible stars at night, shooting stars no less! Saturday is a beautiful sunny day and many Ribena lollies are consumed by the assembled masses!!! As the day draws closer and closer to 9.50pm, a silence washes through the gathered Dum Dums fans, but yet there is still an immense amount of hope and peace hanging in the atmosphere.

As Switchfoot finished their set, the crowd grow tense, and just as they think they can take no more...ooowaaaaaahhhh.. the kind of day sirens start. The crowd erupt as Josh, Stuart and Steve walk out onto the stage that will house their last stand.

"What is he wearing!?!?" The front row all exclaim simultaneously while pointing at Steve and his silver jacket!

The gig is perfect. The magic lost at Edenfest which caused so many tears, is now back with abundance and is running through the band and the crowd more than ever before tonight. "We love every single one of you SO much!!!" shouts an impassioned Josh Doyle.

The crowd bounce and rock and cheer like never before. The front row get at least 10 cm thinner and nearly have their heads taken off by crowd surfers many a time!

Then comes Running Away. The tears we have tried to swallow will be held no more. We all hold onto each others hands as if our lives depend on it, and maybe at that moment, they did.
